man he had a real nice run. cracked this guy in the mouth and ran him over for a 15 yd TD. very nice. Also a couple pretty nice passes. The announcers are saying he deserves a shot in the NFL at QB. good for him.

 
Hey, you guys know I'm not here to piss you off or bash Nebraska, but COME ON!!J. Lord in the NFL as QB? He may make it at another position, but not QB. What do you guys on the board think about that? Does he have an actual shot or were these announcers high?

 
Naahh. They were just pumping him up b/c he had a couple decent passes. Broadcasters are so fickle and worthless you cant count on them for accurate analysis on anything.

Yer right RMS, I could see him getting a look in the league at WR (if good enough hands), or DBack. But thats about it.

 
Agreed, Frost was a much better overall qb and he made it as a safety and actually played for the Jets for a while. I don't know, but I think the so called analysts are looking too much at guys like Quincy Carter and the dude who played for the Ravens (former Cowboy and I can't remember his name) and putting JL in that category. If Crouch couldn't make it I sure as hell can't see JL making it, but that's just me.

 
Glad to hear your honesty. One guy comes to mind to me-- Antoine Randle El-- Lord may be able to follow his footsteps.

 
There was one thing I always noticed about Lord and he is hard to tackle. He's always standing after the play and guys are just rolling off of him.

Lord + QB = NO
