How's this for the pint-size hero?

Statement by Upper Deck:

“Jack is the type of inspirational athlete who absolutely deserves an Upper Deck rookie card,” said Chris Carlin, Upper Deck’s sports marketing manager. “Upper Deck does not want to risk Jack’s amateur status with the NCAA so the card we created will not be part of a mainstream trading card release. Jack had a larger than life moment on the field that day for Nebraska which is why Upper Deck is creating a limited number of promotional blow-up rookie cards for Jack to sign and use for charitable purposes. Upper Deck is proud to play a small role increasing awareness in Jack’s cause and we are excited to be a part of ‘Team Jack!’”

Awesome!

Anyone know if/when this comes is released to the public? Also, will any of the money made off of this go to the Hoffmans or Pediatric Brain Cancer research?

I hope all the attention Jack is getting brings pediatric brain cancer to the forefront across the US. This kid probably doesn't even know he has become a role model and inspiration to not only children afflicted by this but also the parents of the kids and now major corporations. I hope this continues for many years.

Side note:

Who rates a thread like this 3/5 stars?
The rating stars are close to the HB link. Someone probably hit the rating accidentally. I've done it before. (Not this time though.)

Awesome idea to make up those cards! Props to Upper Deck.

It was me. Whenever I read a thread on my phone using the non-mobile site, you can usually rely on me to rate that thread about 3 stars.
