Typically, in broadcasting, it's either the Program Director of the station may have made a "creative decision," there was a focus group and he didn't fare well, or he just moved on to another job.

Had it been completly amicable you would have thought they'd give him some kind of farwell or send off of some kind. Not sure how it went down myself, not really an avid listener.

the last i heard from him, he was off to a wedding and never came back.

 
I read somewhere that Schmithead is the program director. He might have been on to get The Spread started after they fired that douche that was in love with Michigan or Notre Dame or whatever. I think he got everything running smoothly and handed the reigns over to Wilkerson. I thought I read that on the 1480 website.
