Joe Dailey's play

Yeah, it was pretty bad. It seemed as if Callahan took the ball out of Dailey's hand once he threw the interception. The middle linebacker was reading his eyes the entire way. Maybe his problem is that he tries too hard, but I tend to agree, I don't think he will be playing much at the quarterback position next year.
Maybe, but...

Some guys never learn to look off a covered receiver, or to work through their progressions - Dailey may be one of those. But for those that "get it", it takes time - some longer than others. With Dailey's experience this year, finally learning the plays, and a spring in front of him, who knows? He might get that V-8 moment sometime in the spring.

Athletically, I don't see a lot of problems with Dailey. His arm, while not the best in the world, is adequate for the offense. It's a question of whether the light ever goes on, and when.

Wouldn't be surprised either way if he's not the guy next year, or if he is.
