now i know alot of you aren't big congdon fans, but this guy is a pretty solid kicker.......

i mean, sure, hes not nailing the 45+ yarders, and not making the extra point when we are down by 15 and no time left...........

BUT, he is nailing crucial extra points over and over again. We take Extra points for granted around here, i believe it was Okie St. who lost a game off of a missed PAT in OT???????

sure, all the long FG's are nice, but having a consistent kicker who makes the ones that matter........i'll take him

Hes a stud and defiantly an accurate kicker. I wish announcers could say his name right. Today someone said ' cong dong '.

 
I like Congdon, and I've always said he's solid from 40 and in. I liked seeing more of our kickoffs go into the endzone (don't remember the guy's name that's been doing them now). I just wish we had a field goal kicker who could be reliable from 50, but Congdon has done us well and I don't think there's much room for complaint.

 
how many extra points has he missed the last 2 years????? 2 or 3

that is pretty solid

his distance will get longer as he gets older, not to many freshman or sophmore kickers out there that kick 50 yarders routinely

 
i believe it was jake wesch, the backup kicker and FG holder that did the kickoffs

and i thought the same thing, his did look kinda shaky, kinda a little too low, but o well, he got them through......

 
Jordan is solid. He has several field goals in the lower 40 yard range over the last couple of years, but as long as he keeps winning games for us he deserves his props.

Yesterday it was Taylor's pass and Purify's reception that tied the game for us but it was Jordan's kick that won the game. That's easy to forget. Like last season against KSU, the field goal won the game for us. If Jordan misses that FG we lose 4 in a row and 5 out of 6, and instead of the KSU being our turning point we hit the skids.

Jordan has done a fine job. Like the rest of you I wish he could hit a 50 yard FG but those are usually kicked so low they are easy to block anyway. As long as Jordan keeps hitting them over 40 yards he's doing fine.
