Correct. He has four years to play three. Pretty unusual but good for whoever he chooses. He will have three years of eligibility at whatever school he chooses. What's his eligibility status?? 2 for 2, 3 for 2??
Yes. He enrolled in January so this is his first season playing college football. Thus, he has five years to play four as of right now. He'll use one of those years playing this season. His plan is to graduate in May and then he can enroll at a D1 school next summer and have four years to play three.Did he early enroll in a Juco? Just trying to get my head around this 4 years to play 3.
OWHMartin has already been offered by the SEC phone book — LSU, Florida, Ole Miss, Tennessee — but the Huskers might have an outside chance. NEO’s new head coach is Ryan Held, who played at Nebraska in the 1990s and coached current NU defensive end Joe Keels last year at Highland (Kansas) Community College.
“I knew about Nebraska before they started recruiting me,” Martin told Huskers Illustrated. “My college coach attended Nebraska and he tells me a lot of stuff about when he went there. He said it’s full of tradition and it’s a good school.”
