Just Baffled..Holy Rush Defense

I am baffled at Nebraska's rushing defense tonight. Giving up an average of 185 a game and held Michigan to -21. Negative 21?! WHAT?!?

Michigan was averaging 154 a game. Absolutely awesome performance on defense tonight. I really thought I was watching a game from 2009.

15 tackles for a loss. Most since ... the 2009 Big XII Championship Game. Your thought sounds just about right.

Even while getting raped all night by uncalled holding. I know this is a pass play but pretty bad. There was another play where (I think it was an LB?) got basically tackled from behind while making a rush...no call.

Mentioned it in another thread, but would love to see the defense start throwing the bones! Lights out tonight, mm mm lovin it

Michigan's O-line isn't very good when it comes right down to it. And you could tell while watching, as confirmed by a player tweet, we pretty much knew what they were going to run as they lined up. They weren't very inventive and really didn't do too much to counter what we were doing on defense.

All that said, our guys played hard and intense, and we generally had the right defensive play calls in at the right times. And it looks like our young defensive players are starting to get things clicking with the execution (because no matter how much people are sick of hearing it, execution on defense has been a huge issue).
