Keith Williams on Keyan Williams

Keith Williams says he pushes his son as hard as he pushes anyone, and maybe harder. After all, Keyan Williams knows all of his dad's on-field drills. He knows how his dad thinks. He acutely understands the expectations. In fact, Keyan Williams' unique level of familiarity with his dad's ways might occasionally become helpful to the coach if he needs to get his message across to a receiver -- especially in those moments when he has to be particularly hard on a player.

"I don't want Keyan to defend me, but maybe sometimes he can explain to another guy exactly what I meant," Keith Williams said. "It's not like I want him to represent me. Not at all. But at the same time, maybe he can explain something better than I did at the time -- and do it from a player's perspective.

"Basically what I'm saying is, I know Keyan can help guys get through some frustration because he's had it 50 million times worse than they ever will. When he was 10 years old, my wife and I would get into heated conversations like she was his agent or something. Other than that, I don't expect anything more out of him than anybody else.

"I expect him to be on his game. I expect him to be the best student he can be, be the best person, and come to work ready to play like everybody else."

Keyan will play this year, he brings some leadership to the wideouts group and he can help this team win with some big time catches.

So who is our top WR in terms of...in 2017?

Receptions: Tyjon Lindsey

Yards: DPE

Big Plays (30 Yard+ Plays): McQuitty

TD's: DPE

Best Blocker: Keyan Williams

Keyan is constantly looked over. He should be big time this year.
Why do you believe that? Yes, he should know his Dad's drills and techniques more than others. But, what tells us he has the physical skills to be a major contributor?
Well I dont have a crystal ball...

He was a stud in high school and had a year to bulk up and work on his skills. Is there something that is telling you he will be a non-factor this year?

Wow! No way Stanley does not make your list. The Man should be good for most receptions and yards and best blocker. I like DPE for most TDs. Most Big Plays is definitely a question mark. I could see defenses underestimating a young guy like Tyjon, JD, or McQuitty.

Don't look past JD Spielman
Stanley Morgan might take every one of those categories
nah I could see him in every category except big play. He has big play ability but I think we just have so many weapons in the big play department that he doesn't have an edge.

No, but, I'm not the one claiming he's going to do big things. Just simply asking because I've never really seen anything claiming the kid is a great WR other than he is the KWs son. He could be...I've just not seen it.
