Keller Article

Running A Reverse

"Keller has not taken the most direct path through his five-year college career, but as he enters his final season of eligibility, the second-year Cornhusker is back in a familiar position, sitting atop the depth chart with a team that is almost certainly bowl game-bound."

Not a bad read. Pretty much says what most already know. Let's make that bowl game a BCS one!!!! GBR

I'm expecting big things from him this year, we're really fortunate to have him and he's extremely fortunate to be a husker! GBR

Everything he's stated in any press conference or release shows that he very grateful the Husker staff have given him the opportunity to perform. I'm very glad he got the starting nod as I look for him to perform among the top 3 QB's in the country!! The only two I feel might be on his level are Brohm of Louisville and Henne from Michigan. What do you think? I also heard the players are voting on captains and someone asked him if he would likely be one of them? He said probably not, due to the fact that he hasn't been to battle with his teammates. Does anybody feel he should be a captain?

Here's the article that discussed him being a captain. It's the second part of the article right after the Lucky/Glenn section.

Captain Keller?

He has a pretty good take on the honor of being Captain. It would be surprising if he were voted since he hasn't led them in battle before.

Rivals wonk Sean Callahan was speculating last night on Channel 6 that the captains would be Keller and Ruud.

Captain Keller?
I really hope Keller is named Captain. I love his attitude and I think he would be a great captain on and off the field. I can't wait to see him play!

No McKeon huh?? While I do think maybe sometimes he might run his mouth a little much I think he's a motivator and he also plays balls to the wall. Always something to look for in a Captain!! I would like the choice of Keller though. He's intelligent, outspoken, confident, and just a flat out leader. Keller has captain written all over him.

I would definately believe that it would be between Ruud and Mckeon. They are both great influences on the team!
