Keys to Victory

Control the turnovers, control TOP, and be smart with the football. Don't make stupid decisions like throwing into coverage which Zac doens't usually do. O-line needs to block well and give Zac some time. Also, for gods sake score in the 3rd Quarter!!!! We finally did last week against sCUm and it felt great!!!

 
Load the box. Take away the run and short to intermediate pass. They have the receivers to burn us long, but Thompson is not accurate long at all.

Control the line of scrimmage. POUND THEM MERCYLESSLY ON THE GROUND. They will where down. We should be able to throw it against them .

DO NOT GIVE THEM THE BALL OFF OF TURNOVERS!! that is the biggest issue with this game.

This is a absolutely great opportunity to win a conference championship. We can beat Ou. I dont even think its a long shot.

It is critical to win this game and show that we are no pipe dream. We are for real.

that will spell recruits and respect in the title hunt for next year.

That and a freaking HATE HATE HATE OU!!!!

 
i think our defense needs to stop their offense at least 1 time more than OU's defense stops ours.

if we stop them 10 times and they stop us 9 times then i bet you we will win

 
"Protect ZT" should be the mantra of the O-Line. Let him run the offense and good things will happen.

"Make your tackle" should be the first thought of the D.

Build off those two simple things and victory will be ours! :restore
