I keep rewatching that part of the game but cannot see this happening. It had to have been on our punt to them because the next play I can see K Davis the whole time and he doesn't do anything by the time that play is over the clock is under 9 minutes.

This is seriously total bulls***. That cannot be the play? I see him move his forearm towards his guy but I've never seen something like this draw more than a 15 yard penalty, not a suspension.

Ok, let's put Green in there in his spot.    :D

Can someone find a clip of the strike in question? Again I'm watching this from 9:30 to under 9 minutes and I'm nit seeing anything from K Davis that can be seen on the TV broadcast

Something happened right here off camera best I can guess. The ref is right there though and didn't give a penalty.

If thats when it happened K Davis had fallen on top of an OSU olineman, completely incidental from my view.

Edit: after rewatching I see what you are saying there is a small amount of time between when Davis falls and when the ref runs up to him where Davis is out of the shot. Could have been then

There was a scuffle around then, which is why we see the ref talking to Davis there, and Davis gesturing at an off-camera Buckeye.

I remember that play, it was chippy and there was a scrum. But I don't remember anything about anyone hitting another player.

I'm sure Frost will comment about it. They have the benefit of the All-22 to see what actually happened.

Yep just edited my post Davis goes off camera for a bit right after the fall.

Yeah I couldn't see anything as he goes out of the shot.  The good news is Northwestern is 77th in rushing right now.  They're averaging about 151 yards per game so far this year.  Still a blow though.
