What's your take on the red beer? Any suggestions for orange beer?
Nasty Nasty Nasty.

Light american lagers in general are f'ing worthless, then to add a can of tomato juice is just over the top.
What is the beer of choice for the Huskers?

IMO, can't go wrong with a Sam Adams, whether it is any seasonal (Octoberfest is my favorite though), Boston Lager, or Cherry Wheat, among others...Not a huge fan of Hefeweizen though.

As far as the majority of Huskers? I really don't know. I actually have taste buds so I enjoy good beer. lol.

Not a huge fan of wheat beer.

Sam Adams makes some good brews, Oktoberfest would be my favorite(still got 30-40 bottles sitting in ym fridge right now), Honey Porter, Scotch Ale and Boston Lager follow it.

We have a couple good Microbrews here, one located right in Lincoln(Empyrean) and they make a couple good brews(Fallen Angel sweet stout which is seasonal and then Third stone brown is an awesome brown Ale. Their fallfest is also a good brew)

Topping my list has to be a delicious Guinness though, followed by misc brown ales, stouts, porters, etc. I do love me a good IPA or belgian dubbel/tripel though.

Never had the Honey Porter, I'll have to try that. Any IPA is game with me. Also, there is a locally brewed beer in Atlanta called Sweetwater, but they only sell it in that area, but I love it. I actually was walking through the local grocery story the other day and there was a case of Octoberfest still there, so I had to get it.

BTW...this thread will be moved in 5.......4......3.....2.....

Honey Porter only comes in their sample packs, but it is some damn good beer. And, Yeah I stocked up on the Sam Adams Oktoberfest while it was still out lol.

BTW, if you like IPAs, check out Boulevards Smokestack IPA. Its one of the best Ive had. Also if you can find it.. which might be hard out of Nebraska, Spilker Ales out in Cortland Nebraska makes a really hoppy IPA call Hopluia. Its worth checking out if you can find it.

I shot a 70 in Ashland @ Ironhorse this summer. Before the round I had two red Bud Lights. From now on I will not golf without a red beer warm-up. Also, I had three red Bud Lights before the Colorado game. I'll have to try this orange juice and beer combo these Clemson fans are talking about.

Try this link it should give you a good idea. I, unlike trouble (i think it was) don't mind wheat beer, Boulevard wheat is my favorite, get a pitcher and drop a couple lemons in there. Typically though I drink Bud light, Busch Light, budweiser, lately though I've been getting the dirty 30 of Miller High life and High life light.

we usually just keep it simple on gamedays/tailgating...bud light. two or three quarts of clamato. open beer can, take healthy gulp, replace gulped contents with clamato, enjoy, and repeat. everyone seems to drink bud light without much complaint. i remember once miller lite was on sale or something...people might dislike bud light, but it seems that people that dont like miller lite are particularly passionate about it. havent bought miller since.

i am a huge fan of the orange beers when we're out on the lake on a hot day. it just seems to give you that little extra oomph you need to stay out in the sun all day drinkin.

and of course, we always stop by sandys on gamedays for a glass of elk creek water. or 10.

If you're an old fargin fan, like myself, there was nothing quite as growler prompting and bitter, yet still capable of evoking a myopic nostalgic yearning for a beer bender, as Falstaff.

The closest equal these days is PBR.

Ugh! That was some nasty beer. Almost as nasty as guiness... yuck

Tops on my list is Heineken. Then Bud Light. But I have more simple tastes when it comes to what I drink. :dunno

My favorite gameday beer: anything that's on sale and I can drink, like, 30 of.

Dad was a huge Falstaff fan. Had a dog named Falstaff. That dog was an f'in drunk.
