Know What Would Be Funny?

If Wisconsin secretly planned a black out (space for word censor avoidance) game and gave black shirts to all their fans, thus completely undermining our attempts to stand out.

Meanwhile, Barry Alvarez' time in Wisconsin has a been a ploy leading up to this inevitable moment. He secretly puts on an underground campaign to get all Husker fans in Camp Randall red "We're the real Big Red" shirts. He and Osborne skip off into the distance giggling and high-fiving.

When ABC does an arial shot of the stadium, its gonna look like empty seats since its a night game. Hope the Cornhusker fans take over College Game Day, and the stadium is taken over like Nebraska fans did to Notre Dame in 2000!

I don't see Nebraska getting as many fans as I have heard into the stadium. Wisconsin fans love them some football and this is a big game, so there is definitely alot of interest.

Actually that would not undermine our attempt to standout in support of our team. It would bolster it. Our team would simply think that we did crash the Camp Randall party ala usual Husker fan style.

I see your point! They would definitely think that, especially when all 80,000 black-dressed Nebraska fans are making it absolutely deafening when we're on offense and cheering for good Wisconsin plays. All part of the strategy; brilliant!

I'm not sure I see the correlation between the noise level in Camp Randall and what color (black or red) their fans choose to wear. Let's face facts; it's going to be loud in there regardless and we will only get so many fans in. The issue that quite possibly has the very least importance in how this game turns out will be what color any fans are wearing.

The Huskers come into Camp Randall wearing green and yellow. Wisconsin fans thinks they are the Packers, and cheer against Wisconsin.
