Kolb or Cam ?

If your team needed a QB and you had a choice between Kevin Kolb or Cam Newton, who would you pick?

Kolb 1000%. I would like my team to have a QB who can win now and has at least proven he can win in the NFL. NFL and College, not equal.

 
Kolb, not only is he your "prototypical" NFL style quarterback, he has learned under one of the best offensive minds in the NFL, Andy Reid.

 
Kolb and as the poll proves it's a no brainer. The guy can make all the throws, and as aspeedlin threw out there he has already been tutored by one of the great football minds in the NFL. I can easily see Cam's career match Vince Young's in both highs and lows, but I think Kolb in the right situation with the right team can become a consistant performer. Hell the guy has already been a NFL Player of the Week

 
I think you have to go with Kolb. The potential of each is close to the same with maybe a slight edge to Newton but the bust possibility is much higher with Newton. Plus Kolb is an NFL ready qb right now while it is going to take time with Newton.

 
Kolb all the way for now. We will just have to wait and see what happens with Cam. With the possibility of a shortened or non-season in 2011-2012 not withstanding, it will probably be a couple of years before we have a sense of what Cam is and is not as an NFL QB. Of course he could always end up in a Russell situation, get thrown out there as a rookie and then we get to watch a parade of 40-yd lasers connecting with free safeties all the while highlighting his impressive arm strength.
