ku football

sorry but i cant agree with anyone wishing luck to Turner Gill at ku.He took the job knowing he will be our enemy now. his job will be to go out and out coach us and hand our butts to us if he can.he will attempt to get recruits from us and so on.

I wish him no luck and us all of it. :espnsucks:
Yawn.....

NU has their chances to take him, and passed him over. How can you whine about him taking a HC position at KU? Of course he wants to beat NU, who in the B12 north doesn't?

He'll make KU a damn good team. Better than Bo will make ours? Time will tell.

The only good thing KU had going for it was Mangino's offense and now that's gone. Kansas will be an average program at best.

apparently he is supposed to have a texas pipeline.....we shall see

I think Gill will have KU playing extremely well and he will recruit with the best of them. It will be tough for kids and parents to tell him no.

But, I will not go as far as saying he will put together a 'BETTER' team than Bo. In certain years, yes, KU will beat NU, but as a whole, my money is on Bo. I love Turner, but Bo has shown he is the man to make this work.

I wasn't completely sold on Pelini until mid-season this year. After the debacle of ISU and TT, most teams-coaches would have folded. Bo is too f'n tough to fold or to let his team fold. The Omaha paper had an article yesterday that said the team played ......"mean"...... not dirty or cheap......just MEAN.

I love this. As a high school coach, I am always telling my guys that between the whistles, plays as MEAN as you can. Bo has this team playing with an attitude !!!! The defense is light years ahead of a few years ago, and whether you like it or not, the old saying that D wins championships is true.

Turner Gil will be an outstanding coach for KU and i wish him the best, of course that being said after a Nebraska loss my feelings might change.

i hope gill does well against the rest of the big 12, and then gets humbled by NU every year...best of both worlds.
