Kudos to Husker Travelers

I have always heard from EVERYONE how Nebraska has such a good crowd of fans that really travel well and follow their team! Gotta love the fans!!

 
nice job everybody... surprise christmas present for baylor... or not??? they knew it was coming i bet. gotta love the green and red color difference though

 
What they don't show in that picture is the other side of the field where we had another pretty good size patch of red. There was also red scattered randomly throughout the stadium. I was sitting in the mini-sea of red though. Our fans were truly amazing there. I'm so glad that I was lucky enough to be a part of it. I think the players really appreciated it too. Many of them pointed towards us and kept pumping us up throughout the game.

 
Baylor Athletic Department said NU fans bought about 15,000 tickets. Not bad for our first road game after the way we played on the road the last 5 games

Wish I could have been there. If there was another side of the stadium that was similar to this pic, I stand in awe. Great job!! Gotta love the support the Huskers get in Texas. With all of the D1 schools in Texas, it is amazing the Huskers draw so much support down there. I guess people have good taste everywhere. A true example of Husker Nation.

I know that it has been mentioned on other thread. I recall the chant GO BIG RED as plain as day several times. Great and loyal fans.

The other patch of fans wasn't near the size as the one in the picture but it was still impressive. I'm guessing these were just fans who bought tickets from Baylor and couldn't get a seat on our side of the field so they started their own section opposite us.
