Yeah, Berringer was the first one who jumped out at me. For as much as he is liked, he really only played meaningful snaps in, what, 9 or 10 games?

Not sure about Schlesinger or Rathman either. Tougher to quantify as they played on some really good teams but were more part of the team as opposed to being the huge difference-maker themselves.

If they swapped Gill and Rathman, I could see that being in the ballpark.

On field performance and Phillips isn't in top 10? Tough crowd.ahman green not in the top 25 or are they going to say he's top 10? Don't agree with either

Fullbacks shouldn't be listed on here.

Also, a player that has never received an individual national award or been named a 1st Team All American should not be listed above someone who has. Especially at a school like NU. Lawrence Phillips maybe the exception.

The top 10 is going to be interesting. Phillips at 11 surprised me. Off-field issues aside he's probably one of the top 5 talents we've had. Was also surprised to see Glover outside the top 10. Although he was well before my time it was always mentioned how dominant he was during the '09 Suh season. Hell his Game of the Century stats alone should put him in the top 10.

Glover and Steinkuhler both made SI's All 20th Century Team, both won an Outland and Lombardi Award, but somehow couldn't crack Nebraska's top 10 players?

The top 10 is going to be interesting. Still left

Crouch

Frazier

Suh

Rimmington

Rozier

Bob Brown

Fryar

Rodgers

Neil Smith

Grant Wistrom

Mike Brown

Ahman Green

Ralph Brown

Zach Wiegert

etc...

Someone very good is going to get left off for Cory Schlesinger

So a couple of these guys will be left of the list completely (and I am probably forgetting a few):

Rozier

Crouch

Rodgers

Frazier

Wistrom

Suh

Rimington

Shields

Weigert

A Taylor

Raiola

Fryar

B Brown

edit: dammit, St Paul beat me to it...
