Last time Texas lost three straight

It's telling that Oregon jumps Boise in the polls this week, yet Oregon has only beaten one ranked team while Boise has beaten two ranked teams up to this point.

 
When we beat Texas they will be a .500 ball club, 3-3. One of those Whorns wins was their mighty 34-17 defeat of Rice.

I wonder if UT fans will still be BIG talkers then??

you sir are 100% wrong Texas will have no more then 4 losses most likely even if they lose 3 in a row here. Plus alot of other teams could be ranked when we run into them. Mizzou and oklahoma state could still be ranked when we run into them and K-state is barely unranked,they are receiving a good amount of votes.Texas will get back in the T-20 most likely before this year is over.

 
Id rather Texas lose, and then we play ranked Missouri and Oklahoma State, and then play the top 10 undefeated team of Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship Game.

I am sure Texas stuck it to us on purpose and got punked by a bad UCLA team and then embarrassed by OU yesterday. There is not way for NU to jump 5 unbeaten teams, so until them have some type of plus one playoff this is the way it is. We may get BSU or TCU in a BCS Game since Oregon, OSU and will possibly be ahead of BSU in the MNC game. Texas beating OU does nothing to get NU into the MNC game. Pre-season rankings have a lot more to do with it. If NU starts at No 3 instead of 9, we have a much better shot of running the table and getting into the MNC game.

 
mack brown is a bad coach. he is a bad prep coach and a worse game day coach. he can only win with superior talent and an incredible qb; of which, they have neither this year.

Don't forget having the strings to the conference's lead puppet. Or the friendly Dallas based big 12 officials. Those don't hurt either.
