Yes, that was a great play and a great stop by our defense, but Lavonte missed alot of tackles today and that's not like him. I hope to see him fired up and ready to go against Michigan. He's become one of my favorite Huskers. Great job so far Lavonte.

He was voted leader of the day by the Marines on BTN, so I think he played pretty well today,(9tackles)... and obviously came up BIG when we needed him most!

Luke Kuechly of Boston College is the only other LB worthy of consideration this year. There are two of your first team AA's, and the Butkis should come down to those two guys.

As for David missing tackles today, I guess it is because he thought with the rate of the rest of the starters missing tackles it must be some kind of contest or something.
