I don't know anything about Lavonte David off the playing field. Does he embody "integrity, maturity, performance, academics, community, and tenacity."

Lavonte has accomplished something I think no other player will, in 17 months he has become the 5th leading tackler in Husker history. If that doesn't deserve awards I don't know what would.
