Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence Central Top247 linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr. will not make his college decision at the end of May as originally planned.
Michigan, Ole Miss, Penn State and Tennessee were considered the favorites for the nation's No. 6 inside linebacker, who picked up recent offers from Nebraska and Texas.

"Need more time to evaluate my options," Kirkland said, adding he'll release a top eight on Sunday.

"Just want to give the school that I haven't seen a fair shake."

Says he'll have a top eight tomorrow. Said the new Texas and Nebraska offers are interesting and he wants to take more time to visit schools before deciding.

 
Visiting Michigan again in a couple weeks. Interested in Tennessee, Kentucky and Mississippi. May visit Virginia Tech again. Listed Texas and Missouri as recent offers he's looking at more.

No mention of Nebraska.
