Lee, Spielman, Jefferson, Miller, Young Named Scout Team MVPs

Glad to hear Collin Miller is doing well. We really need to get better at DE.huge need at that position.

Again, this doesn't always signal a jump to a starting role in the upcoming year. Sometimes it as much to honor good teamwork behind the scenes.

Last year's 2015 scout-team MVPs were Alex Davis, Reid Karel, Christian Bailey and Jalin Barnett.

In 2014, lineman Jerald Foster was a scout-team MVP. While he impressed the new staff the next year, it took until 2016 until he was on the top line of the depth chart.

So take it for what it is.

But when you think of those behind the scenes who might be ready to become key factors in 2017, Lee and Spielman are no doubt at the top of the wish list for many Husker fans.

Jay Foreman is pretty high on Colin Miller. Said he is one to really keep an eye on and that he probably would have started if they didn't want to preserve his RS.

Impossible. He was a 3 star. Get this garbage out of here.
How does a roster of three stars compete against a roster of 4 and 5? 62-3
There are numerous games where a roster of 3* players have whipped up on a roster of 4 and 5* players. Look at Texas the last 5 years.

How does a roster of three stars compete against a roster of (well coached) 4 and 5? 62-3

If we don't use JD and DPE like a Edelman, Hogan, and Beasley I will be greatly disappointed next year. It would be nice to see a lot more short yardage passes being completed
