Let's try something new!

On what happens if the wildly hoped for miracle happens and the Huskers manage to turn it around and win the rest of their games. Of course we get a bowl game but do any of you statisticians have any insight into what a 9 win season gets us? Are we in or out of the B12N hunt having lost to Mizzou?

after this week, KU is in the drivers seat. MU will be tied with us and have the tie breaker but of course, there is the month of Nowinber in Columbia.

Not that I think this will happen, but...... What if this is the spark this team has needed and they start playing like the team we thought we had. The D comes out and punches teams in the mouth and lays the smack down. The O line starts owning the game, the running and passing game step it up. And we win out. Even blow some teams out. Where does that leave us. T.O Made it sound like he would hold judgement till the end of the season. What happens to Cally and Co. then.

Not that this will happen..... But what if??? :dunno

It would be great to win out. Doesn't mean much though cause change could still happen whether wholesale or just certain coaches.

I think Cosgrove will be gone no matter what happens. If we win out, I'd say Callahan has a decent chance of staying but remains "on notice". He could just as easily go, though.

I can't even imagine a scenario where Cosgrove will stay.

Back to the original question...we need help to win the North as we are down 2 games to KU (undefeated) but we could get one of those back with a win in Lawrence. We are down one to MizzouRah and they own the tie break over us.

With a win over KSU we get the tie break over them with a win in Lincoln. Dittos for a win over Colorado in Boulder.

So to answer your question...we need to go undefeated the rest of the season and have someone upset both Missouri and KU.

But, thanks for asking.

TO is an amazing man, but he isn't god. We're not going to suddenly play like the 95' or 97' Husker's just because he's AD. Nothing has changed for this season, we will still lose the rest of our games.
