It looks as if the books are going to be cautious with this game, as it's kind of a Jeckyl/Hyde situation with both of these teams. They have no idea which team is going to show up on either side as both teams are prone to turn the ball over. Also, OU did lose a few more to injuries last week vs. Kansas St. on the OL and WR positions.
Key injuries for OU for Saturday:
[QB] 10/25/2009 - Sam Bradford out for season ( Shoulder )
[TE] 09/08/2009 - Jermaine Gresham out for season ( Knee )
[DT] 09/08/2009 - DeMarcus Granger out indefinitely ( Back )
[OG] 11/01/2009 - Tavaris Jeffries "?" Saturday vs. Nebraska ( Suspension )
[OG] 11/03/2009 - Brian Simmons is downgraded to expected to miss Saturday vs. Nebraska ( Knee )
[WR] 11/01/2009 - Adron Tennell injured last game, "?" Saturday vs. Nebraska ( Shoulder )
[WR] 11/05/2009 - Brandon Caleb is upgraded to probable Saturday vs. Nebraska ( Ankle )
On a typical +4/+5.5 spread I would lay bones on the dog, but until this anemic offense finds their way, I wouldn't even chance it.
I say, save your money and play against this year's money making losers in the NFL like St. Louis, Detroit, Kansas City, and Oakland.
