Ok guys...so we allowed 600 yards, but regardless a win is a win...its obvious that we aren't the huskers of the past right now but keep in mind that we are fighting. This is the first year of the Callahan era that I actually believed in the Huskers coming back from 2 td's and winning the game. Even tho the game against Ball State seemed horrible to watch..not to mention in the stat book, you have to see the heart they showed. Deafened by boo's of over 80,000 fans they still manage to come back and win that game. Without a doubt I give it to Nebraska for finishing that game. Offense looked amazing, defense was beyond horrible, but heck..we got the W. Things went our way, take it as you wish..but before your great you have to have some bad games. I think were lucky that our bad games result in a W. Wont be hearin any BOO's from this huska :box

So, at what point in time did you give up during the USC game? Seriously, it was Ball State. No way in HELL should we have ever been in that position that we had to come back from being down 2 td's. Finishing? The D continued to let their O run all over top of us to the very end. If their receiver doesn't get a case of "stone" hands, they're kicking their field goal from the 15 and win the game.

We're nothing more than Texas Tech right now. How successful are they with the high powered offense they have? This is exactly what NU football has become, Texas Tech! Our bad games don't result in W's. We did lose to USC remember? Not to mention, we have played the soft part of our schedule. Wait until we get into the "meat" of the schedule with Mizzou, Texas, KState, KU, etc. If we continue, yes that is continue, to play this poorly; we more than likely will only win 2 more games. Since BC has been here, our road record has been less than stellar. We've been playing piss poor at home, so just wait until we take our "freak" show on the road.

I would love to believe, but I just didn't see the same fight as you. I saw absolutely no life at all in the D. After the game, we hear about how "tender" of feelings some on the D have. Well boys, you need to man up. This team needs some tough love right now.

The NFL does "miced" up or whatever they call it. For comic relief when we're getting our asses kicked, I'd love to see Pud "miced" up. I didn't pay the 30 bucks to watch the Ball State game, but did they ever show Pud? I was looking for him in that dibacle against USC, and he was nowhere to be seen. You can bet your sweet a$$ that if we'd have won the USC game, he would have plastered that sh#t eating grin all over the TV screen.

well jr., i got to agree with you on this one. when the goin' gets tough, the leaders are seldom seen, but whern success rolls around they are front and center! it's that way in every business.
