Exactly, but putting words in people's mouths for the purpose of speculation is a dumb practice. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, no matter how ridiculous it is. The Solichists will find anything wrong with this Callahan coached team. If current or former players say words of support, the response is "well what else are they supposed to say, that is for the press, they don't really mean that." If a current or former Husker player or coach says something critical the response is always "finally, someone tells it like it is." I call bullsh#t.

 
I just don't understand the thought that BC was playing not to lose too bad. That is crap. Anybody who has a competetive bone in their bodies never plays or coaches that way. If you are a D-1 coach or a D-1 player, you didn't get there by not being competetive. All of our coaches and players were disappointed with the loss. I can guarantee you that nobody went into that game just trying to keep it close. Every coach and player was expecting/wanting to win that game. Nobody could ever convince me that the team or coaches didn't believe they could win and so they played to keep it close. :restore

 
(Are the WRs piseed?  is Cody Glenn pissed? are our CBs down?)  I can't imagine that anyone has a good taste in their mouth.  I do wonder about the psyche of the kids going into the Troy game.

Every single WR is going to transfer over the lack of passing game against USC. Herian scheduled another surgery. Lucky is thinking of leaving because he isn't getting the carries he was "promised". Glenn has skipped parctice every day this week. Mann really only had a cold but was so mad about the gameplan that he checked himself into the hospital and said he had mono. Octavien was so mad about the "lack" of blitzing he pulled a hamstring and refuses to play against Troy. Taylor said he is going to change every run play to a pass play at the line of scrimmage. I heard they all had bad tastes in their mouth due to some spoiled milk at the training table. There was achicken spotted running around Lincoln claiming the Sky was Falling.

Actually I think the players have moved on to the Troy game and are preparing for that. What a concept.

Yeah, they have moved on. Troy is going to get pounded. Callahan will continue to emphasize the run and Wilson will have a good day. A real good day.

I still haven't decided whether or not to pay for the Troy game. thirty dollars is a lot of money. I think I'll just go to a sports bar.
