After heading into his senior season as the likely No. 1 overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft, Washington quarterback Jake Locker now isn't even a sure bet to get taken in the first round.

Locker's stock began to tumble in September, when he went 4-of-20 for 71 yards in a 56-21 home loss to Nebraska. As fate would have it, Locker will close his college career Thursday by facing that same Nebraska defense in the Holiday Bowl at San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium.

He savors the chance to make amends. LINK
KEY STATS: Despite Locker's late-season showing, Washington averages just 200.3 passing yards to rank only 77th in the nation in pass offense. Nebraska allows an average of 159.9 passing yards to rank seventh in the country in pass defense. But the Huskers were torched for 342 passing yards by Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship game.
heh, 77th. That is surprising.

He will probably pass for more but overall our D is better now (especially on the line and tackling) than it was that day and I think that is over looked in all of this.

Will Todd McShay finally give our defense credit after this beatdown or will Locker just have another off game?

The man has no help therefore we will whip him around like a dog on a leash. Come 'er boy ! Here comes the pain.
