Lol

reminds me of things that happen here. They think we are getting calls from the officials and getting away with things. We think there is a B12 conspiracy to screw us.

kind of hope we can go beat them again. (although without Martinez that might be a lot harder)

Since when does playing tough, physical football equate to being dirty thugs?

When fans of each team (yes, all of us included) don't know what it means to be objective. Obviously, it's ridiculous and biased of OSU fans to have the perspective that we have the dirtiest program in the country and that our team resembles The U, but it's just as ridiculous for us to blindly defend Martin's hit (I'll leave Courtney's out of this, I personally thought it was clean both in the physical tackle itself and in him not trying to kill Gabbert but to properly tackle him) as something less than what it actually was, which was a viciously violent hit that may or may not have been illegal, and was also entirely purposeful.

The only thing I really dislike and find issue with in that thread is the perception of us whining about him being suspended. I know some people were, but the way I perceived the situation it seemed like the general consensus amongst internet-dwelling Husker fans was that the suspension wouldn't have been such a huge deal if it wasn't an isolated incident and a new precedent. I thought the suspension was at worst only mildly controversial, what I thought was absolutely b.s. was that it was the first of it's kind, when you see plays like this several times a weekend, every weekend of every season. Two very different arguments there.

I hope their players think our team is dirty and thugs so if we see them again this year(which I don't think will happen), they will all be worried, scared, and intimidated. Far as im concerned believe what you want, we play hard, to the whistle, and take no mercy. Its football girls.

Figuratively, it strikes me that Bo and Co, and his boys, dont drink much milk. And Im fine with that.

Hopefully we'll get another shot to own their rears in the CCG. At the same time I'd rather play OU. OSU has a good offense, but we made some mistakes in that game. I don't think OU is gonna beat OSU, but I could be wrong.
