lou holtz gives huskers no respect

lou holtz was just on ESPN News and said that the huskers are gonna get upset. even mark may didnt pick WF to beat them... and just think, holtz is gonna take over for trev this week...

 
Lou holtz comments don't bother me. This is why i don't like coaches voting in the USA coaches poll because they don't try to find out anything about opposing teams unless they are facing them the following weekend. Thank god he retired

They've got to know more than most of the people in the new Harris poll or whatever it's called.

 
Yes, the Harris poll is a joke... but hey, the BCS had to do something right? Well something other than a playoff that is.

As far as Lou Holtz is concerned. I could care less what he has to say, we'll show him up tomorrow for sure. Wow, is it bad that we have to show the media by beating Wake Forest?!

 
how can huskerland survive not having lou holtz's respect?

maybe the same way nebraska has survived the past 45 years without have the mainstream media's respect: by just being huskers and winning games.

 
Herbstreit put us in for upset alert on the college preview tonight on sportscenter....says that the offense could cost us the ball game. I just have a feeling tomorrow will be a good day though!

 
As bad as Wake looked last week (or is Vandy that much improved?), it's not a terrible pick considering how bad NU looked last week.

This is a MUST WIN ball game, folks.

 
I dont understand why Billie C. admits they won't win by a lot. Why would you say "yeah my guys won't beat these guys by a lot? Why say "yea we won't come out exploding on offence". I know he didnt say thoses exact words, but when you say they will be in the game in the 4th seems silly to me. I think he is being tooo concervitive.

I'm with you there, dbetz. Our team had so much confidence coming into the season but I don't see any coming from our coach. It's a little offputting.

That's just coach talk. Remember how TO an Frankie always said every team we were playing was a good team. That it would be a tough game even if we were playing McNeese State.

I could careless what Lou Holtz has to say. You can throw in Mark May also.

Lou Holtz can blow it out his a**!! As far as BC commenting on what is going to happen, if he were to say that we were going to blow them out and the third stringers would be in during the fourth quarter, some of us would be saying he is too confident and bashing him for that. Take one game at a time and one win at a time, whether or not it is a blowout.
