Luke Gifford

So....I am sitting here watching my beloved Cowboys in pre-season. The back-ups are in and I see this one guy making plays. The announcers are talking about how big of an impact he has made in training camp. I keep watching. The guy gets hurt, looks like a pretty serious injury. Turns out it was Luke Gifford. The guy looked like a completely different player than when he was at Nebraska. I had no idea he was with Dallas. 

I hope is injury isn't as serious as it looked. He looked really really good prior to the injury.

No break, but it sounds like Gifford has a high-ankle sprain.  It will probably end up hurting his chances to making the roster, but maybe they will try to keep him around on the practice squad while he gets healthy.
