Major League Baseball 2016

Bought tickets for opening day here (Jays @ Rays) to take the wife and kids. I've never been to opening day, so it should be fun!

 
Can't wait! Already have tickets to check out a few spring training games, and it's nice to actually have some excitement around the Dbax for once.

 
It's been a while since I have been this interested in the start of the baseball season. I think it's going to be a fun year.

I'm planning on going with a group of Cubs and Cards fans to the series in Chicago in early August. Might be as many as 10 of us going with a mix of Cubs and Cards fans.

I don't know how much I'd like that pitching rotation, but that 1-9? Damn....

 
BTW....booked tickets today for two games in the Cubs/Cards series at Wrigley in August.

AND...think I'm going to be able to catch a game in June against the Mets.

Love this time of year when baseball starts back up. Understand all the excitement from cubs fans but will be interesting to see if all their young guys can perform when the weight of the world is on their shoulders. Also, can Lackey repeat what he did last year.

Now for my Cardinals I'm not sure what to think about them. Didn't sign a power bat. Lose Lackey but sign Leake so thats basically a wash I think. Get a healthy Wainwright but Yadi is coming back from 2 thumb surgeries. Not sure where i stand with them right now. I just know that coming off a 100 win year and losing to the Cubs in the NLDS and then to come next year and all everyone is talking about is the Cubs should give them all the motivation they need.

We are going with a group of 8-10 people. Half Cubs fans and half Cards fans. It's going to be interesting sitting with them in the bleachers.

 
Lucky that some of you can make it to the spring games. For me at least MLB has multiple games daily so i can enjoy the promise of summer through the screen while looking out the window at 6 inches of snow.
