Make your 2008 predictions! I know it's too early, but I can't control my anticipation for next year!

Go through the schedule and put the percentage chance we have of winning that individual game. At the end, predict our final record and bowl game. This should give a good indication of the expectations for next year..

Western Michigan 95%

San Jose State 95%

New Mexico State 95%

Virginia Tech 45%

Missouri 30%

at Texas Tech 15%

at Iowa State 70%

Baylor 90%

at Oklahoma 10%

Kansas 30%

at Kansas State 80%

Final Record 7-5 Independence Bowl

I hope we do better, but I think 7-5 is an acceptable first year to build on.

 
I'm gonna go ahead and be the first Husker fan to predict that we beat Oklahoma this year.

Why?

Because 100% of the predictions I've seen say we'll lose to them. Forget that. We're gonna beat Oklahoma. :koolaid2:

who knows what bowl... and yes thats correct I believe both CU or KU have a better shot at beating us than Mizzou, Mizzou always looks absolutely terrible in Lincoln. I know people are saying this Mizzou team is so awesome, but they've been pretty damn good before and blew us out in Columbia, and then look like garbage in Lincoln.

Nebraska has, maybe, the most favorable schedule in the Big 12. The Oklahoma game is the only one

where Nebraska is a definite underdog. Any college team can win at home in front of 80,000, and the other 'tough' games - VT, Mizzou, KU and CU are all home games. You should win at ISU and KSU, but it will be tough.

all I hear from most everyone is 7-5 but I think we will be 8-4 and possibly 9-3 if we can upset either mizzou, oklahoma, va tech, or t tech. I don't think we lose to kansas and missou again this year with both at home.

i do think KU will be tougher than MU but on the outside MU looks like a tougher team at the moment (except linebackers) and we get KU later in the season when our D will have a chance to really get better and i also believe that MU was a one hit wonder (moreso than KU) they always seem to start out good and then pinkle outcoaches himself, they will lose 4+ games no matter what their very very unknowledgable fanbase will tell you. OU is the best team we will play but i think we will put up a fight and bo will give it his all to beat his buddy. V-tech will not be a good team and we will blow them out, it is as simple as that, i dont care how good they were last year because success one year does not equal success the next in college bball just like failure one year does not equal the same the next.

not pumpin the sunshine boys, just hittin straight with how i really see it. we have much more talent than some give us credit for!

 
is this a husker board or a red raider board? you would think tech is a top five team. I bet we beat them by at least 17 in lubbock. You don't think bo can stop a one dimensional offense? This is probably the fourth time ive gone on this rant this offseason. Everybody aside from b-rent has a lower chance of us beating tech than mizzou. I don't get it. :rant

i agree, isnt the all time record like 7-2 in our favor? im thinking without a running game we will beat them rather soundly.
