Manhattan KS--- things to do, eat, see.

Heading down on Thursday morning to Manhattan. Wanted to know if anybody knew of good places to eat..no applebees type places, have a few beers. Also if there is any place where Husker fans invade before kickoff.

Kite's is a decent place, there is one in aggieville and one out on hwy 24 I believe. Tubbys and So Long Saloon are pretty good as well (both in aggieville). Willie's Bar and Grill on Seth Child is where the watch parties have been, I would assume there would be some huskers there, I haven't eaten there so couldn't tell you food wise. There are some huskers gathering to tailgate in the lot north of the stadium I believe before the game as well.

I have a couple of employees here in Manhattan who go to as many Husker games as they can. They say Aggieville is ok but the real partying happens in Lincoln.

ya pretty much, it isn't very big of course neither is manhattan. O Street lite I suppose, it is a fun time. I have heard bad things happening to visiting fans there, this is more in the midnight to 2 am time though :wasted

 
Been a few years since I went to school there, but I always enjoyed So Long Saloon and Rock-a-Belly Deli for food. Kite's is a frattastic bar and I was never a big fan, but they have decent food there.

Aggieville can be a fun time (I got a lot of crap wearing my red), but there always some a-holes there (usually from Fort Riley). Normally the Husker fans take over one of the bars.

 
Anyone else notice that we've been noticeably short on KSU visitors? We've had one troll I know of who lasted all of five minutes on the board before getting banned, but aside from that, I haven't seen a single post by Wildcats fans.

Where are these guys?
