I LIKE this dual practice thing. But it keeps the coaches are pretty busy. Double practice times, plus looking at film of the practices."We're getting a way better look at more players. And they're getting a chance to get more coaching." —Coach Riley, on the dual practice
Definitely. Helps that they only have practice every-other-day. Plus they are getting more live looks so that perhaps that reduces film time somewhat.I LIKE this dual practice thing. The results should be well worth the extra effort though. We are probably going to see some guys on the field who may have been overlooked before, and without this format.I LIKE this dual practice thing. But it keeps the coaches are pretty busy. Why not? I agree that dual practices in fall camp might be counter-productive, but spring practices are spread out so there's only one every-other-day, as another poster pointed out. This seems like an excellent way to get the players in the middle and bottom of the depth chart more reps and coaching. It's really probably a one year deal. They will get to coach and evaluate all year long after Fall Camp starts. Probably won't need to do it in the Spring again.
