ESPNWhile Maryland coach Randy Edsall and wide receiver Stefon Diggs were reprimanded for a pregame skirmish, the Big Ten also referred to the refusal of the Terps' captains to shake hands as "exceptionally regrettable."
The suspension and reprimand were both a result of a pregame scuffle that, according to a statement by the Big Ten, was initiated by the Terrapins. Diggs was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct, and the conference chided Edsall for not controlling his players.
