Am I the only one that heard his voice about cracking as he was reading a feed commercial or something like that right before halftime? He was saying somethingto the effect of "just like Nebraska's Legendary tradition of excellence, our...". You could almost hear him chuckling about it.

And Rosie? He sounded so depressed I almost expect to hear that he jumped from a tall building tonight after the game.

 
Can anybody throw out a few quotes from Matt? I wasn't able to listen to the game, but it sounds like he feels like most of us on this site.

Yes, he was chuckling. The add kept talking about things like the excellence that Nebraskans have come to expect and comparing their product to Husker football. The contrast between the add and the game was very ironic.

 
my all-time favorite husker used to be ralph brown but based on what i've seen and heard from davidson the last couple weeks he has to be now. I think what he says correlates with what about 98% of the fan base is thinking. Sorry Ralph Matt is number 1 now.

 
I believe the ad was for Cabelas, and yes, his voice did break as he read that line about tradition of excellence.

 
hes freakin awsome he saved are season in 97 with that bad CATCH aginst the TIGERS i remember that game like yesterday :woo
