Matt Hamill fought with staph infection

He was reading up on the fights Sunday at work even though I watched them and heard that Hamill fought Jardine even though he had staph on his back. I noticed the brown spot on his back during the fight but thought it was just a bruise until I heard about it and saw this picture.

OMG. I noticed that spot on his back too, but I hadn't heard anything about it till today. That's pretty gross.

Apparently they're saying that the spot on his back was hard enough and under the skin where it posed no threat. A lot of people are wondering why a dermatology didn't look at Matts back to actually label it as staph.

Heard about it at right after the weigh-ins. He also had a broken hand and blurred vision in one of his eyes.

Ya he got poked in the eye during the fight and they showed Hamill's eye right after it and it was pretty sick looking. Matt Hamill is a beast and even though I was rooting for Hamill I don't know if that was a good call to take a point away from Jardine.
