leaders lead, Pelini has found a diamond here I think. Pretty smart puppy it appears. Heart and intelligence is the base of a great defense. He must have them in spades to play as a true freshman and given the play calling responsibilites. Just a matter of time my friends, until Pelini has this type at every position.

 
While a freshman walk-on is being annointed as the diamond in the rough, I choose to look at guys here recruited by several schools and think there has got to be talent there. They just need a bit more polishing.

It was cool to see this kid get time, I just wonder how much he would play if we were playing a non spread team. I would assume in a normal line-up with his size he isn't a true ILB. Will he be SLB or WLB? With him Compton, Lawerence, Fisher, Washington the future looks bright. At least it appears that way.
