I mean its not gonna hurt recruiting wise. Its just like casual fans watch ESPN so they thing the SEC top to bottom is better than any conference. Then ignore the playoff and bowls. Every week you will hear a guy saying the BIG is the best conference. Not a bad thing for the team if they can win some games.

1.Rhule on McAfee is great for exposure.
2. Recruits may see us as the new cool team.
3. When Rhule 'retires' from football - he'll probably be a TV analysist or PODCASTER - the guy loves to talk.

And I don’t care what Rhule’s retirement job is. It’s gonna end with a parade or in a ball of flames. Starting to lean towards the later. Too much splash and hype, not enough substance.

Yes, I'd like to see less splash and more toughness on the field. I hope week 2 adjustments are huge - otherwise I may not look forward to Michigan.
Michigan plays OU this weekend so that will say much about both programs. If Michigan wins and we go into the game 3-0 - and they are 3-0 I sure hope we don't lay an egg on national TV. That will be the game that Rhule needs to prove the hype to be of substance.

Like a lot of stuff in coaching, this is going to be one of those things that doesn't matter so long as they're winning. If they start losing, then it will be a big deal for some fans.

I see more potential benefits than negatives either way. It's not like it's going to take up a ton of his time and it helps with brand exposure.
