I was in 16 and everyone was standing most of the time. My legs hurt. NOT. I didn't really notice a huge difference when players where called out. The players that asked for noise on kickoffs and such got a great response from our section and the student section 3 sections to our right. Mostly the whole endzone cheered quite a bit from what I could tell.

Memorial Stadium should be one of the loudest stadiums in the nation every game, not just for the texas's and usc's. We have a chance every home game to be a part of the game and make it miserable for the opposing team and we fail to do that. Noise like we can and are able to create can disrupt audibles, force the other team into bad decisions sometimes and if it helps creat one turn over then we helped the home team.

I have heard that aTm is very loud all game and the fans never sit down there. Our crowd and fans as a whole have a great tradition of selling out the stadium, lets start anothr by raising the decible level as HIGH as we can

These our our Huskers and we should feel proud to help them anyway we can.

I know that I have yet to go to a home game that I did not hurt my voice. Counting the spring games.

Anyone who complains about people standing in front of them needs to go to their local cable company and buy the HD package, or turn on their radio from the parking lot. The people who have tickets are there for one reason - to do whatever it takes for our team to win.

Let those that complain know that there's a bar only a couple of blocks away where they can sit all day and watch the Huskers. While they are at the stadium, they are EXPECTED to stand and cheer for the huskers.

No, it was weird. I usually show up at least 45 minutes before kick off when I have tickets. But for some reason, we were running late and made it in just a couple minutes before kick off (we were just passing by the sculpture garden when the fly over flew over). I was surprised how many people were still in line to get in!

 
This is interesting. I think it was a rough week to be a fan (because of the comments by players) and a rough week to be a player. It should be back to good, hopefully.

 
I think it's time for some fans to give up their season tickets and let the people that are willing to do whatever it takes at the games to help the Huskers win a chance to have them. I don't know how I would react if someone asked me to sit down and then threatened to call the cops. It probably wouldn't be pretty. ;)
