McKeon Injured

Maybe the coaches are trying to play mind games with the Texas coaching staff. At least that is what I am telling myself, to make the whole thing sound better.

 
If his wheel is even a little bit messed up, you can't put him on the field if the idea is to pressure with blitzes. He won't have a quick first step, and he won't have the ability to cut when the quarterback tries to evade.

He could get in on obvious running downs, of course.

My hope is for a full, complete cure by Saturday...

That scenario was mentioned on the LJS blog as well. Maybe a little mis-direction via the media to keep Texas guessing?

 
That's kind of an NFL mentality as well. Don't let anyone really know how an injured player is doing. Belicheck with the Pats doesn't let anyone know how a player is doing.

 
They are saying now on Unsportsmanlike Conduct (ESPN Radio) that McKeon has an Achilles "Issue". Not ruptured, not torn, just 'aggrivated'. Ouch.

 
He better be damn careful then because he definately doesn't want to rupture that damn thing!!!! I heard that is one of the most painful things you can go through in your life!!! :blink:
