Meat Rubs For Smoking

This is from someone who is a great cook; she made these and she said they were great.

Perfect Picnic Rub:

5 T. Freshly Ground Pepper

1/4 Cup Turbinado Sugar

3 T. Paprika

2 T. Coarse Salt-(Kosher or Sea)

1 T. Dry Mustard

2 Tsp. Onion Powder

1 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper

Enough for 2 coatings 6 to 8 pounds pork.

This is an all purpose rub, good on ribs, brisket, chicken and more.

3/4 Cup Paprika

1/4 Cup Freshly Ground Black Pepper

1/4 Cup Coarse Salt-(Kosher Or Sea)

1/4 Cup Sugar

2 T. Chili Powder

2 T. Garlic Powder

2 T. Onion Powder

2 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper

***Makes About 2 Cups
