We really like this meatloaf...just guessing the amount of the hamburger...I put this in a cake pan and bake it.
Preheat oven to 350*.
Meatloaf:
1-1/2 lbs. to 2 lbs. ground beef
1 lb. Jimmy Dean Sausage-We like the Hot Sausage
1 cup milk
2 eggs, beaten
chopped onion to taste
chopped celery to taste
2/3 cup ketchup
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs (in a can.)..with roasted garlic
fresh bread crumbs-I use 4 slices of bread
2 pkgs. Meatloaf Seasoning
pepper to taste
Thoroughly mix all the ingredients in a large bowl and put in a loaf pan...I use a cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or till done.
You can make a glaze before putting it in the oven if you want...that is good too.
Glaze:
1/4 cup ketchup, 1 tsp. dry mustard and 2 T. brown sugar. Mix all ingredients well and put on top of meatloaf. Double ingredients if your meatloaf is larger.
*I like to put some sliced American Cheese on top sometimes and let it melt in the oven, if I don't make the glaze.
