Memorial Stadium - student section

If all of the 'old money' had their way, the student section would be somewhere on the other side of the railroad tracks that run through campus.

Agreed, but even though the student seats are filled with several morons. The students are a huge factor in crowed noise, especially when the ball is in the south.

It's been 20 years since I've been to memorial staidum. Do they check seating assignments very closely? i.e. can I have my son sit with me?`

No one will probably say anything and I don't know how big/old your son is but I have to say it's really, really annoying when someone brings a extra person into the row that doesn't have a ticket there. You wouldn't think if would affect it as much as it does.

12 and 13 are also student section (that is in south as well). This is where no onw really cares where you sit. If you come early, stake your spot, and look like you should be there, then no one will say anything because no one next to you is in their seat either.

yeah, I can't say I've ever really looked at my ticket when I got in the stadium. I've probably been too drunk to notice, but I generally just grab the first open seat I can find.

And I've never been a student at the school.

Yep, I've only seen one alteration between someone who wants their 'assigned' seat. The students heckled the old people for being dicks about the whole thing. Poor girls got kicked out of front and had to sit up in like 78th row.
