This has been known for a few weeks now I think. Only surprise is how quickly they tore it down after the spring game.

They have announced that the turf is going to be all the same, green color throughout (no more alternating greens every 5 yards) and the end-zones will look the same as before (no red end zones).

That would be hard on the eyes watching on TV all game long.   - makes for great camouflage for the home team 

Also wt the track around the field, it puts the fans far away from the action.
