MGM line

I don't fully understand gambling and how lines are set....perhaps no one really knows, but I did notice something this past week when I was in Vegas. At the MGM, the opening line on Feb. 1 they had Nebraska at 50/1 favorite to win the NC. On their latest update, March 15, Nebraska improved to 30/1. This was by far the biggest jump. There was A&M that went from roughly (If I"m remembering correctly) 25/1 down to 15/1. Many others went up a click from 40/1 to 45/1 or something like that.

Can someone explain why the Huskers made such a big jump? What is Vegas seeing?

They aren't seeing anything at this point. There was probably just enough money being put on Nebraska at 50/1 to move the line. Supply and demand.

Agreed. Some big money must be seeing value in our favorable schedule.
