Miami Hurricanes update

"It's a major blow for the Miami offense. The Hurricanes, who are coming off a 6-7 season, lost the school's all-time leading rusher, Duke Johnson, to the NFL draft after last season and saw standouts in left tackle Ereck Flowers and wide receiver Phillip Dorsett -- both first-round draft picks this year -- and tight end Clive Walford exhaust their eligibility."

"His absence means a larger workload will be placed on sophomore Joe Yearby (509 yards, 1 TD last year) and true freshman Mark Walton. The depth chart did not say if either has won the starting job. Trayone Gray, a sophomore who saw limited action last year, will back up Yearby and Walton."

"Major blow"? He was a good short yardage RB He was ok. Joseph Yearby is way better, the freshman Mark Walton will be good too.

Two words-Brad Kaaya

Gus Edwards, who was slated to replace Duke Johnson at RB this year, is out for the season with a foot injury.

Not sure who their #1 will be now. Yearby? Walton?

No running game could be trouble. Kaaya has a good arm, though, and hit some pinpoint passes against us last year.

Miami will be fine at RB. Yearby will be a stud. Kaaya will be the deciding factor in this game not who is carrying the ball for the Canes.
