Michael Bush out for the season

Heisman hopeful RB Michael Bush of Louisville is out for the year with a broken tibia.

That suxs for him. He was having a great game before he got hurt. Something like 100 yards rushing and three touchdowns. That may hurt Louisville chances of a BCS bid.

I was watching that game since Texas State plays Kentucky this week. The replay of the tackle made me hurt just watching it. It was certainly an accident, the defender just rolled over Bush's leg at a bad angle as they were going down. Really tough to see and I feel sorry for Bush. He could have been in the NFL this year but wanted to play his senior season and now he won't get to. Maybe he can get a hardship year of elligibility and try again next year since this will not help his NFL prospects in next year's draft.

Hate to see any player hurt like that.

Hope he recovers quickly.

Horrible loss for Louisville. He was such a big guy, and he had speed. Bummer for Cardinals.
