Death threats part of 'just sick' reaction to Michigan recruit Logan Tuley-Tillman burning OSU letter

By Kyle Meinke, Michigan football reporter, Posted: Tue, May 29, 2012 : 6:26 p.m.

Logan Tuley-Tillman knew he probably would hear from some Ohio State fans when he tweeted a photo of himself burning mail sent by the Buckeyes.

But he didn't expect national media exposure, and he certainly didn't expect death threats.

On the bright side, at least he didn't have his picture taking hugging a tOSU registered sex offender.

Hmm....I'm going to burn a letter from my school's archrival and post it on the INTERNET where millions of people can ANONYMOUSLY see it and respond to it WITHOUT repercussion and then be SURPRISED when I get death threats.

I think what the kid did was awesome. He heard rumors about people thinking he was going to switch his commitment to Ohio State, and he silenced those rumors. The idiots who have been sending death threats to the kid are freakin' idiots. Get a life...

First, we had Michigan recruit Logan Tuley-Tillman setting fire to his Ohio State recruiting letter and putting the picture on Twitter. Then Tuley-Tillman received death threats for his gesture.

Then an Ohio State fan named Harrison Watson tweeted that he'd pay $2,000 to "whoever sidelines this kid permanently." Now, Watson has apologized for that tweet and says he'll donate $2,000 to Michigan to make up for it. Anyone still doubting the intensity of the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry?

Watson, a 22-year-old Buckeyes fan, wrote on his personal website that he meant his Twitter bounty offer as a joke before realizing his remarks were "regrettable and reprehensible."

Some people say stuff on Twitter like they're sitting around the bar with a bunch of buddies, talking smack. Which is a stupid thing to do.

Don't remember a story being written when ann arbor fans were tweeting to Brionte Dunn about how they wanted him to tear his ACL when he reaffirmed his commitment to OSU last year.

Love when these "stories" arise but ann arbor just ignores what they want.
