I've been railing against guys railing against Beck...but that's a horrible play call. Two down territory and we throw a pre-determined deep route.

C'mon. That's 4 down territory. We get 16 yards on that punt.

Think about it as 4 down territory and then we can start off with a run play before deciding what to do on 4th.

And I don't think that read was predetermined. But it was what was available. We just didn't have the right guy there for it (I mean, who's #87???)...but I suppose the idea was good. The criticism I have is they didn't treat it as 2 chances to go for it. If it's just one, we had been really conservative all game, should've given us some open space downfield.
